Prior to working with Dylan, I relied pretty heavily on the direction of various personal trainers, without any discussion of particular programming goals. I have always wanted to build muscle and gain strength, and assumed that what I was doing would achieve that. In reality, the workouts I was doing were ineffective and mainly just left me exhausted without progression. I also lost a lot of confidence and autonomy in the gym since I had used a trainer for so long to tell me what to do.
Dylan offered the perfect solution to my issues: a targeted, intentional program that is based in science and specifically designed to meet my needs, and which also allowed me the independence to do my own work in the gym. I have learned a ton about strength training and, as a result, I have regained a lot of confidence, particularly when doing complex lifts. I now regularly PR on lifts where I had been stuck at the same weight for literal years. I also receive support through weekly check-ins and coaching calls, and Dylan is generally available when I have specific questions as well. The body of knowledge provided through this program and the Five Elements platform has been extremely valuable.
